People who hate Apple’s current line of MacBook keyboards and move to USB-C have praised the 2015-era 15-inch MacBook Pro. Unfortunately, Apple has announced a voluntary recall of some of those laptops due to an overheating battery:
The units were sold primarily between September 2015 and February 2017 and can be identified by their product serial number. The recall does not affect any other 15-inch MacBook Pro units or other Mac notebooks…
The only model covered is the MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015). If you’ve got that laptop, put your serial number into this page to see if you’re affected.
