No Man’s Sky coming to Xbox

No Man’s Sky, the huge galactic exploration game that launched on PC and PlayStation a couple years ago, is coming to Xbox this summer.

The 505 Games-published port, which will include 4K and HDR graphics support on the Xbox One X, will follow what Hello Games founder Sean Murray calls “by far our biggest update so far” to the game, called No Man’s Sky NEXT. Hello Games isn’t detailing what specifically will be included in the upcoming free update, due to launch this summer, save for the few screenshots shown above.

I was really excited about this game before it came out, but its reception was definitely on the mixed side. That said, it seems like a lot of the updates made over the past couple years have been generally positive, and maybe the Xbox port will help give it a little more life. At the very least, I’ll get a chance to play it!

I’m also curious to see what other changes are due; the most recent update was, by all accounts, pretty huge.
