Google Photos adds retroactive support for Live Photos on iOS

For those iPhone 6s and 6s Plus users not inclined to trust their photos to iCloud, good news: you can now store your pictures on Google Photos without losing your Live Photos. The latest update to the iOS app adds support for the new moving pictures, and, even better, the new feature is retroactive, meaning any Live Photos you’ve already uploaded to the service will already work.
