Every color scheme in MLB history

How did I not know about SportsLogos.net? The site is right in my sweet spot of sports and design nerdery. Yesterday, my wife pointed me at this detailed view of every Major League Baseball uniform color scheme, for every team, in the last 116 years. Scroll to the bottom for the enormous and mind-blowing master graphic.

(My favorite team, the Giants, apparently didn’t settle on their orange-and-black color scheme until the late 1940s, and in the early part of the century most teams only wore red or blue. The New York Giants even wore purple for a couple of years! But of course, back in those days you could only see the teams in color if you came out to the ballpark.)
