Apple Music on Sonos
Apple Music’s first integration with a third-party hardware player is here, and as previously announced, it’s Sonos. (You need to be using the newly-updated Sonos Controller app and be on Sonos’s beta-updates track, which you enable from the Advanced menu, to get the update.)
I’ve never been a Sonos user, but with my venerable Logitech Squeezeboxes discontinued, I’ve just started testing some Sonos hardware. The “Alternative Best of 2015” playlist from Apple Music is currently playing out of my living-room speakers. (I’ll write more about my experiences with Sonos once I’ve spent some more time with it.)
