Live Long and Prosper, Apple Watch

I was going to write a story about how today’s Apple Watch 1.0.1 update adds display support for the same wide range of emoji that are supported by iOS 8.3.
But iMore’s Rene Ritchie, with whom I was exchanging Vulcan salute emojis all afternoon, beat me to it. Because the glyph doesn’t appear on the standard emoji keyboard, the trick is to paste it (which you have to copy from a page containing it) into the Apple Watch app’s list of standard Messages replies. While you’re at it, put it in your keyboard shortcuts, too.
