Rethinking iTunes
Now this is really cool: interface design students at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam mocked up what it might look like if iTunes were broken up into a bunch of single-purpose apps: one for music management, another for ebooks, a third for devices, and so on. I’ve written about breaking up iTunes before, and it’s nice to see someone with more design talent than I have take a crack at what that might mean. The mockups are gorgeous and if you click through, there’s a little more on each concept. Movie Time might be my favorite, but they’re all worth checking out.
